XATA acquires Turnpike Global
On December 4, 2009, XATA Corporation (Nasdaq: XATA), announced that it had purchased Ontario-based Turnpike Global Technologies for US$20 million in cash and stock. Turnpike will operate as a subsidiary of XATA, with Turnpike's management reporting to the XATA executive team.
