Aaron has an active M&A practice, advising clients on a wide variety of transactions including negotiated acquisitions and strategic alliances. Aaron’s recent publications include the 2015 Canadian Hostile Take-Over Bid Study and Canadian Proxy Contest Study - 2017 Update, highlighted key trends driving public M&A and activist activity in Canada.
Corporate directors and board committees also look to Aaron for advice on complex governance matters. He is the co-author of the publication 20 Questions Directors Should Ask About Special Committees for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (now CPA Canada). He is also frequently called on to work with boards and board special committees on transactional matters, internal investigations and complex governance issues.
