Al Brixi graduated from Concordia University with an MBA and a Bachelor in Marketing (with distinction). He joined the Fasken team as a summer student in 2017, after completing his second year of law school at the Université de Montréal.
While a third year student, Al clerked with the Honourable Martin Castonguay, of the Superior Court of Quebec, sitting in commercial chamber. During his law studies, Al shared his knowledge of business law with Garage Legal, an initiative to support start-ups. He also spent time studying at the East China University of Political Science and Law, where he received an honourable mention for academic excellence. While a student, Al taught various business administration classes at the college level and he mentored and coached several immigrant entrepreneurs.
Aside from the law, Al is a skilled orator and has won several international case competitions and scholarships, including one awarded jointly by the British Council and UK Trade and Investment.
