Alexandre Thibault, who holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université Laval, joined Fasken as an intern in the summer of 2019.

During his university tenure, Alexandre worked as a journalist at the newspaper Impact Campus. He was involved in the community, volunteering with Université Laval’s Legal Information Office, the Québec Civil Liberties Union, and Amnesty International. He was also involved with Université Laval’s Law Student Association (AED).

In his second year, he studied international economic law at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he received an honourable mention for academic excellence.

Prior to joining Fasken, he served as an instructor and canoe-camping guide at Camp Minogami in Mauritius, working with youth between the ages of 7 to 17, as well as with children with intellectual disabilities.
