Alexia Magneron is a lawyer in our Corporate/Commercial group at the Montréal office.
As part of her practice, Alexia is responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts in order to secure the intellectual property and know-how of the parties involved. Moreover, she is responsible for the implementation and standardization of corporate privacy and cyber security procedures, including the training of corporate executives. Finally, she regularly manages legal projects to support the litigation teams of the companies she advises and acts as an in-house lawyer in this regard.
With over 10 years of professional experience, Alexia has extensive knowledge of transactional and commercial law, new technology law, and privacy protection on an international scale.
Member of the Barreau du Québec since 2017, Alexia obtained her bachelor’s degree in common law and civil law from McGill University in 2016. She previously completed a master’s degree in international business law at the Université de Lyon and a master’s degree in management at the EMLyon Business School.
Prior to joining Fasken, Alexia acted as legal counsel for high-growth technology companies in France, the Netherlands, Singapore and Montréal, as well as a private practice lawyer within Québec firms.
