Amanda Tang is a consultant with Fasken Business Consulting (Asia) Inc. She advises Canadian and other foreign clients investing in a broad range of Chinese industries.
A lawyer by training, Amanda has spent more than a decade structuring deals and managing legal issues in the natural resources and financial sectors. Her most recent experience includes working in the corporate legal department of a growing fintech company, where she advised on governance and risk management, represented corporate interests in court and addressed regulatory compliance.
Amanda worked for several years with the Balloch Group, which was acquired by Cannacord Genuity Asia. There, she was involved in major transactions that involved Canadian and other foreign investors entities, including a cross-border acquisitions of an aircraft leasing company, billion-dollar resource project financings and strategic investments in high-tech companies.
