Overview

Amy practices energy regulatory law and Indigenous law, assisting with matters before the Canada Energy Regulator and Alberta Utilities Commission.

Before joining Fasken, Amy was a partner at a national law firm where her practice focused on the resolution of First Nations' historical claims against the federal Crown, appearing before the Specific Claims Tribunal and Federal Court.

Amy is currently chairing the CBA Alberta Branch’s Aboriginal Law – South Section Executive for the third consecutive year, and is on the organizing committee for the Canadian Energy Law Foundation Jasper Seminar.

Prior to law school, Amy worked for nearly three years as a radio broadcast journalist.
