Prior to studying law, Annie-Claude completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences. She then entered the Faculty of Law at Université de Montréal. She will start her training at the École du Barreau du Québec in fall 2021.
Her university career in law was filled with unique experiences that helped shape her (future) identity as a lawyer. She was selected by the Honourable Marie-Josée Hogue of the Quebec Court of Appeal for a one-year posting as a research assistant. She volunteered with the mentorship program of the Association des étudiant(e)s en droit de l’Université de Montréal. She also signalled her interest in litigation and public speaking by participating in a mock trial on medical liability, where she received a special mention for her oral argument. This brief biography would be incomplete without mentioning Annie-Claude’s passion for sports in general and hockey in particular. She is a fierce competitor who always finds a balance between pleasure and efficiency both on and off the ice.
