Overview

Benjamin is an Articling Student in Fasken’s Calgary office. In law school, Benjamin participated in the 18th Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot, ranking 7th out of 456 oralists. Benjamin represented UCalgary Law at the 2022 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, receiving a top oralist award in the Canadian nationals round. Outside of the mooting program, Benjamin received Dean’s List standing twice, was an editor for the Alberta Law Review, and published scholarship on urban planning law.

Outside of law school, Benjamin is the Chairperson and owner of a Canada-wide architectural services firm. He is a published author in the history of medicine in Canada and has spoken at conferences for his work across Canada and Europe. In his spare time Benjamin enjoys skiing in the Alberta Rockies, road cycling, and finding new restaurants.
