Benoit Turmel practises in the area of labour and employment law.  He represents employers from the private sector, subject to either federal or provincial jurisdiction and several major companies in the restaurant, distribution, manufacturing, communications, and cultural industries.

Benoit represents employers involved in litigation and counsels clients on all employment-related issues, including the drafting of individual employment contracts, the disciplinary process, non-compete agreements, group lay-offs, etc.

Benoit has recognized expertise in grievance adjudication and collective bargaining as well as a knack for helping businesses develop sound communication and human resources management practices, which fosters a non-unionized workplace.

Benoit previously studied industrial relations and takes a practical approach to handling human resources and labour relations issues.
