Carol-Ann Racine is a lawyer in our Tax Group at the Montréal office. More specifically, she advises clients to help them achieve their goals and develop tax regime and tax planning strategies.

Carol-Ann has significant taxation experience, particularly with Canadian and US consumption taxes and with customs. Her career experience includes being a Manager in the tax department of a national accounting and consulting firm, where she oversaw all tax law-related operations.

Carol-Ann graduated from Université Laval’s Faculty of Law in 2017 and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in December 2018. She is currently completing her master’s in taxation at HEC Montréal.

Carol-Ann is also involved in her community and is a member of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF), a not-for-profit, independent and non-governmental organization dedicated to advancement, knowledge sharing and skill development for its members in the area of taxation.

Before joining Fasken, Carol-Ann was a consultant and manager in the tax department of a national accounting and consulting firm.
