Chris is an advocate with a focus on commercial litigation and international arbitration. He has a wide ranging practice that includes complex business and contractual disputes, injunctions, professional negligence, breach of fiduciary claims, and investor-state arbitration.
He has appeared before all levels of court in BC, the Federal Court and administrative tribunals, and has successfully resolved numerous disputes through mediated settlements. When a settlement is not possible, Chris has extensive experience successfully advancing his clients’ interests at trial, as well as through injunctions and other interlocutory relief.
Chris has also appeared as counsel in international arbitrations in Chapter 11 disputes arising under the NAFTA, and is familiar with the major institutional rules governing these proceedings.
