Crystal Davids is an associate in the corporate and commercial practice group in Johannesburg. She advises local and international clients on general corporate and commercial law, contractual matters, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, black economic empowerment transactions and corporate restructuring transactions.
Crystal assists local and international clients establish or acquire businesses in South Africa and in so doing, negotiates and drafts various commercial agreements such as shareholders’ agreements, sale of shares agreements, sale of business agreements, partnership agreements, consortium agreements, service level agreements, nominee agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, deeds of trust, supply agreements, finance documents and memoranda of incorporation.
She also conducts due diligence investigations and regulatory compliance reviews and assists clients with equity capital raising and debt listings on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Her experience further extends to advising clients on various aspects of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008.
Crystal has acted for listed and non-listed companies across a broad range of business sectors and industries, including the mining, energy, construction, steel, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, commercial property, financial services, information, technology and telecommunications sectors.
