Émilie Gaumont is an associate within the Environmental law group. She advises and represents clients in energy and environmental matters. She also provides legal and strategic advice with respect to compliance with ethics and lobbying rules.
Émilie is currently completing a Master’s degree in Applied International Law and International Politics at the Université de Sherbrooke. She possesses a clear understanding of public affairs, social responsibilities and international matters, in particular those related to the commerce and environmental conciliation.
Émilie graduated from the École du Barreau du Québec in the Fall of 2017 after completing the law-MBA program at the Université de Sherbrooke. During that period, she was involved with several organizations, including the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation and the Canadian Red Cross. Émilie also worked as a legal researcher for the Groupe de recherche sur les stratégies et les acteurs de la gouvernance environnementale. She gained experience in business administration, especially in project management and strategic planning, through the course of internships she completed for the joint law-MBA program.
Émilie recently spent a semester studying at the Université catholique de Lyon, where she took courses offered in the International Trade and Investment Law program (LL.M.). She also acted as an attaché to the Executive Committee of her student association.
