The business environment can be hostile and is often unpredictable. Businesses and business owners are exposed to threats whether they are aware of it or not. In recent years, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has increased exposure and expanded liabilities for businesses. Without fully understanding CSR obligations and expectations, businesses can find themselves taking a reactive, versus a proactive, approach to external pressures. The volatile landscape of White Collar Crime, including criminal and regulatory investigations and charges as well as prosecutions of businesses, their directors and their officers, can have a potentially severe impact upon corporations, their executives, employees and shareholder value.

In this seminar we will discuss CSR and White Collar Crime in greater detail and, more specifically, the ways to reduce the associated risks to which you could be exposed. Find out what really happens when a threat becomes a harsh reality and learn about the subsequent implications that you may not have considered.

Our lawyers work firsthand with public and private sector clients, governments, large organizations and smaller businesses and individuals. Drawing from actual experience in high profile criminal cases and using real world examples of what you should and shouldn’t do, our experts will provide you with unique insight into the intertwined web of CSR and White Collar Crime.
