The results are in! Fasken Martineau DuMoulin and the Direct Marketing Association of Canada recently surveyed Canadian businesses to assess their understanding of, and compliance with, CASL's anti-spam requirements. The results show that many organizations have significant gaps in their understanding of the law and the requirements for implementing effective compliance strategies and due diligence defence measures.

This is particularly troubling given that CASL's so-called "private right of action" is scheduled to come into force on July 1, 2017.

Join Fasken Martineau partners Andrew Nunes and Daniel Fabiano, and Derek Lackey, President, Direct Marketing Association of Canada, as we present the results and discuss how your organization can leverage the findings to avoid liability.

All attendees will be provided an advance copy of the report.
