Fasken Martineau’s Labour, Employment, Human Rights and Public Law group is pleased to invite you to this training session during which the speakers will address the ins and outs of the probationary period. More specifically, they will discuss the duration, the impact of the probationary period in a unionized or non-unionized workplace, the employer’s obligations should the employment be terminated during this period, and how to manage the probationary period in the event of an absence for sick leave or a work-related injury or illness.
