Fasken is pleased to host the Canadian launch of The Robot Of The Year, a world-wide competition which is expected to attract the best innovations to improve the human condition, using Artificial Intelligence and robotics across 11 industries. All nominees must meet the competition’s stringent 10 ethical criteria and will be evaluated by a panel of 30 international experts from across a wide range of areas of expertise (scientists, philosophers, sociologists, and entrepreneurs).

Join us for a panel discussion with the Canadian The Robot Of The Year jury members, investors and tech entrepreneurs as they consider:

  • The definition of AI
  • The ethical imperative of AI
  • Predictions of the “high social impact” applications which we can expect to see improve our lives in the future
