Fayçal Boutentat, has been a registered lawyer with the Casablanca-Morocco Bar since 2012.
He obtained his DEA in General Theory of Law in 2005 at the Université de Paris-X Nanterre in France, and his license as a lawyer in 2009 in Morocco.
Before settling in Canada in 2020, he practised in Morocco in recent years as a general commercial lawyer, namely in corporate law, intellectual property litigation and labour law. Through his work and training, he is interested in the comparative approaches of legal cultures, particularly between Moroccan and French law, as well as the civil law tradition and Common Law.
He is currently enrolled in a legal refresher program for foreign lawyers at the Université de Montréal.
