Overview

Harry Skinner maintains a broad civil, corporate commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice.

Harry is a recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School where he completed a LLM, Canadian Common Law.

Harry completed his LLB from the University of Edinburgh, graduating with Distinction. He was the recipient of the law school’s Jurisprudence Award and the Miller Prize for Revenue (Tax) Law. He also received the Top Ten Best Oralist Award and the Carnegie Foundation Award for the Best Memorial on Behalf of the Respondent at the 2012 Telders International Law Moot Competition held in The Hague, Netherlands.

Prior to law school, Harry obtained a BA (Hons) from the University of Toronto in History and Political Science followed by a MA in International Relations from the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs (“Munk School”).

Harry has worked as a Senior Researcher for the G8/G20 Research Group at the Munk School, the Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law and International Relations at the University of Toronto Law School, as well as an intern with the Political/Economic Section of the U.S. Consulate General Toronto.

Harry enjoys playing hockey, umpiring youth baseball, global politics, theatre and piano.

Harry summered at Fasken in 2016 and was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission’s Enforcement Branch.
