Harvey Auerback is a senior patent agent in the Intellectual Property Group at our Montreal office. He has an important expertise that allows him to advise clients effectively on managing, reviewing and drafting new utility patent applications of their intellectual property assets.
He has an in-depth experience in each of the stages involved in developing a portfolio of IP assets, including meeting with clients to identify their business objectives and their technological advantages over the competition, collecting the data needed to prepare patent and design applications for filing in jurisdictions relevant to their interests and following up on these applications until they are granted. He also has a broad experience in drafting and approving United States patent applications.
Over the course of his career, Harvey has represented small and medium-sized businesses as well as large companies in the IP industry. He has worked for various agencies specialized in Intellectual Property in Quebec and in Ontario.
Prior to joining Fasken, Harvey was a Senior Patent Agent at the Canadian branch of an international technology company.
