Irina recently completed her second year of law school at the University of Victoria where she was awarded the McCarthy Tétrault LLP Prize for demonstrated excellence in Property Law.
While in law school, Irina was a Research Assistant for Professor Bradley Bryan where she conducted research in taxation and business law. Following her first year of law school, Irina spent her summer working as a co-op student in the Tax Law Section at the Department of Justice in Vancouver.
Prior to law school, Irina studied at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Marketing and International Business. As part of her international business focus, Irina also participated in an intensive European Summer Study Programme at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. The five-week executive education program focused on strategic management, economics, and business in Europe. After obtaining her Bachelors, Irina worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist for a large restaurant franchise.
In her spare time, Irina enjoys hiking, yoga, travelling, and learning to cook new dishes. She joins us in June for summer articles.
