Jason Markwell is a leading patent litigator in Canada. He represents pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in patent infringement, patent validity (impeachment) and damages actions, including cases under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations and in disputes relating to data protection, drug approvals, drug pricing (PMPRB), drug product interchangeability, and reimbursement. Jason also has experience in patent cases involving the financial services, telecommunications and oil & gas industries, in trade-mark infringement actions, and in a wide-range of other litigation matters.
