Jessica Catton Rinaldi’s practice is focused on corporate and securities law. With a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, Jessica has been involved in a variety of transactions, including negotiated acquisitions, contested take-over transactions, and debt and equity financings. Jessica is also the Co-Chair of Fasken's Student Committee, its Associate Business Development Program and its United Way Leadership Campaign.
Jessica frequently advises issuers on Canadian securities law and exchange requirements. She holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and recently completed the Certified Legal Project Manager® program, a course consisting of education and practical elements of legal project management.
Jessica is a former director of Canadian Sport Institute Ontario, a not-for-profit organization supporting current and potential high performance athletes and coaches in Ontario and a former director of Young Women in Law, an organization supporting young women in the legal profession and providing opportunities to network and give back to their community.
