Overview

Jessica recently completed her second year of law school at the University of Alberta where she won the Canadian Client Consultation Competition, and then represented Canada in the International Client Consultation Competition, where she and her partner also won first place.

 While in law school, Jessica enjoys being quite involved on campus and is a student representative on the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion Committee, the Recruitment Committee, and the Admissions Committee. She also participates on the UAlberta Law intramural soccer, volleyball, and dodgeball teams.

Last summer, Jessica was an intern at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta where she worked very closely with elected officials and policy makers, wrote speeches for MLA’s, created her own private members bill, and helped to expand ethnic media engagement.

Before attending law school, Jessica completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Alberta majoring in Psychology.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys playing sports, hiking, travelling, and binge-watching baking shows.
