Jessica is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from Dalhousie University, where she was awarded an Entrance Scholarship, an In-Course Academic Achievement Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List. Immediately following her undergraduate degree, she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Sport and Event Marketing from George Brown College, where she was awarded the Pete McAskile Award and was on the Dean’s List. At law school, Jessica worked as a Women’s Division Caseworker with the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and was the Co-Chair of the Employment and Labour Law Student Society. She was an active member and former Communications Coordinator of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) Ottawa Branch. During the summer of 2015, she worked as a Summer Student for Mathews Dinsdale & Clark LLP. Jessica has worked as a Counsellor, Camp Director and Camps Supervisor for the Harbourfront Centre Camps, and as an Administrative Assistant with the Legal Services Unit of the Toronto Police Service. She frequently volunteers with Canadian Athletes Now (CAN Fund). Jessica enjoys trying new foods, watching hockey, travelling, and visiting aquariums.

Jessica summered at the Firm in 2016 and was seconded to Rogers Media Inc.
