Lamine is a Canadian-registered patent agent with 20 years of experience in the field of intellectual property, including drafting, prosecution, infringement analysis and licensing. He works in a number of areas of technology, including cellular, wireless and other technologies related to electrical engineering.
Lamine first obtained his University Degree in Scientific Studies in mathematics and physics from the University of Dakar in 1990. He then continued his studies at Laval University in electrical engineering, earning a B.Sc. in 1995 and an M.Sc. in 1998.
Lamine spent six years working as an independent consultant for various companies in the United States and Canada. He then joined a Canadian company as a patent engineer; there he helped with portfolio acquisitions and provided litigation and licensing campaign support before eventually coming on board at Fasken.
