Lily MacLeod graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill University where she received the Mary Coppin award for academic excellence. During law school, Lily worked as a Division Leader at Osgoode’s student run legal aid clinic, where she advocated for low income clients in family law matters. She also completed the Test Case Litigation Project which involved a four month placement with the Women’s Legal Education Action Fund. Lily served as an editor for Osgoode’s Journal of Law & Social Policy and competed in the Hicks Morley Moot. Lily has extensive volunteer experience including grant writing for a Cambodian NGO, peer counselling for Osgoode’s career centre and completing legal research for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Osgoode’s Domestic Violence Project. Lily played competitive volleyball and represented Canada at the Youth Beach Volleyball World Championships in Umag, Croatia. She also enjoys travel & blogging, photography and writing poetry and short stories.

Lily summered at the Firm in 2018 and was seconded to Cancer Care Ontario.
