Marcelo Ciecha is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution group in Montréal. He assists clients in matters relating to expropriation and product liability. He joined Fasken in the summer of 2013, after completing his Civil Law Degree (LLL) at the University of Ottawa.


In addition to his degree in law, Marcelo holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and anthropology from McGill University.


While at university, Marcelo worked closely with professors in the fields of management, law and archaeology. In his legal research, he focused on Québec contract law, labour arbitration and comparative law.


Between studies, Marcelo worked for two years as an analyst in insurance consulting.
