Matthew Quadrini works with public, private and institutional clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters relating to securities, mergers & acquisitions and regulatory compliance. He also assists portfolio managers, fund managers and securities dealers with regulatory and transactional matters.
Matthew has worked with companies, from start-ups to public issuers, in their various stages of development - supporting their mergers & acquisitions, equity issuances and commercial activities. He also assists public issuers with their continuous disclosure obligations. Additionally, Matthew is involved with investment fund formation and management as well as the preparation of offering documents.
His in-house experience has allowed him to develop an acute understanding of client internal operational frameworks and commercial realities. Matthew has completed secondments with the specialized transactions and products group of the capital markets branch of a major financial institution and the internal legal team of a privatized specialized lighting company. Additionally, prior to joining Fasken, Matthew spent five years with the tax and mergers and acquisitions teams of a Montréal-based global consumer products company. There, he participated in the acquisitions of several South American businesses as well as transfer pricing compliance and tax audit defence.
Matthew is involved with numerous organizations focused on economic and social policy development, entrepreneurship and innovation. His community engagement includes a mentorship role with a high school robotics team.
