Maxime Bédard joined Fasken after completing a Bachelor of Laws at Université Laval and the École du Barreau du Québec’s professional training program.
In the last year of his degree, Maxime clerked at the Quebec Court of Appeal for the Honourable Suzanne Gagné. The experience allowed him to witness first-hand and be inspired by Justice Gagné’s intellectual rigour, as well as her methodical and compassionate approach to the law.
As a Laval delegate at the Gale Cup Moot, Maxime took part in several mock trials before panels of lawyers and judges from all Quebec courts.
During the 2019-2020 academic year, Maxime served as president of the Laval Law Students Association, developing strong relationships with Faculty staff, professors and students.
In August 2022, Maxime will join the chambers of the Honorable Nicholas Kasirer at the Supreme Court of Canada as a law clerk.
