Michel LeBlond has specific expertise representing institutions, associations and not-for-profit organizations (congregations, religious corporations, foundations, private educational institutions, etc.). He provides clients with legal services related to the merger of not-for-profits, their reorganization and the transfer of social enterprises.

Michel advises clients and negotiates all kinds of agreements, such as collective agreements and agreements with government to transfer public institutions. He is also known for his skill as an arbitrator and has been appointed by government departments and provincial bargaining parties in the past. 

Numerous religious organizations rely on Michel’s expertise to obtain legislative amendments on their behalf, which in the past resulted in legislative enactments.  He played a key role in reforming the law on associations and even filed a brief during a consultation.

Michel is a director and officer for several large corporations and regularly delivers training seminars and presentations on business law.
