Montana Licari graduated from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law where she was on the Dean’s Honour List.  Prior to law school, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Criminology at the University of Ottawa where she graduated cum laude. During her undergraduate degree, she was an Assistant Caseworker for the Collaborative Justice Program and was a member of Innocence Ottawa, where she assisted individuals seeking exoneration for wrongful convictions. She also worked as a Law Student at an Ottawa law firm, reviewing disclosure, researching legal issues, and assisting in preparation for trial. At law school, Montana was a caseworker and member of the Steering Committee for the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and was an Assistant Editor of the Ottawa Law Review. She was actively involved in the community through her work as a Student-Athlete Tutor with the University of Ottawa Sport Services and as President of the Ottawa Law Classic, a non-profit charity hockey game in Support of Do it for Daron.  Montana’s other extracurricular experience includes working as the Sponsorship Director of Motionball Marathon of Sport and a Table Captain for The Royal Ottawa Leaders for Mental Health Breakfast. In her spare time, Montana enjoys reading, cooking, travelling, and staying active by running and golfing.
