Montréal, Canada – Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, congratulates Charlotte Deslauriers-Goulet, recipient of the first Fasken Martineau civil law bursary, awarded in collaboration with the Université de Montréal law faculty's Jean-Louis Baudouin Chair.
The purpose of the Fasken Martineau bursary is to encourage an outstanding graduate student studying law at Université de Montréal to pursue an in-depth research project on civil law.
"We created this bursary to help advance civil law in Québec, something we have been doing for several years now by supporting the activities of Chair Jean-Louis Baudouin. We are proud to contribute to the training of future generations of civil law researchers, who play an essential role in the advancement of law and the evolution of our profession," said Éric Bédard, Fasken Martineau's managing partner for the Québec region.
