Fasken Martineau announced that Alison Lacy has joined its Toronto office as a Partner in the Global Mining Group.

Toronto (Canada) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that Alison Lacy has joined its Toronto office as a Partner in the Global Mining Group.

"Alison has a strong background in project development, project financing, mining and energy-related transactions with a focus and expertise in Central and South America. She is a terrific addition to our already strong team and her experience will add significant value for our global clients," said Martin Denyes, Fasken Martineau's Managing Partner of the Ontario Region.

Alison has advised on mining projects in Panama, Cuba, Chile and Madagascar and has worked on transactions in the electricity and resource sectors in Canada, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, China and India. Alison is currently involved in the infrastructure aspects of mining projects in Chile.

She previously lived in Veracruz, Mexico and is fluent in Spanish.
