Montréal, Canada - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that it advised Québecor on the sale of Sun Media Corporation's English-language assets to Canadian group Postmedia. The transaction is estimated at $316 million Canadian, subject to the usual adjustments and the $10 million adjustment related mainly to real estate properties that will be sold by Sun Media before the transaction closes and credited to Postmedia upon closing.
