Fasken Martineau recently held a very successful eighth annual Montréal Symposium.

Montréal (Canada) – Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, recently held a very successful eighth annual Montréal Symposium.

Over 750 in-house counsel and legal professionals registered to attend the seminars and learned from Fasken Martineau’s seasoned lawyers and panelists.

This year’s Montréal Symposium featured a variety of legal topics of current interest, including the anatomy of acquisitions, exporting to the US, funding methods for patent litigation, highlights from the New Code of Civil Procedures, and recent developments in labour and employment law.

Raymond Chrétien, O.C., Partner and Strategic Advisor, Fasken Martineau, and former Ambassador of Canada to the US, and John Parisella, Executive Director of Campus Montréal and former Delegate General of Québec in New York City concluded the event with a luncheon discussion on the US presidential election.
