Jenny Mboutsiadis has joined the Toronto office as a Partner in the Tax Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group.

Toronto (Canada) – Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that Jenny Mboutsiadis has joined the Toronto office as a Partner in the Tax Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group.

Jenny spent eleven years as a highly respected tax litigator for the Department of Justice, Canada. Prior to that, she was a tax litigator at a leading Bay Street law firm.

Jenny has practised exclusively as a tax litigator since being called to the Ontario Bar in 2001. She has extensive experience arguing tax cases in the Tax Court of Canada and in the Federal Court of Appeal, and was lead counsel in many precedent-setting cases.

Jenny has expertise litigating corporate tax matters and transfer pricing issues, and is known for her skillful and efficient conduct. She regularly instructs other litigators on how to be effective and efficient in court and in their practice. Jenny also regularly presents on trial and discovery skills development. She is very knowledgeable about resolving tax disputes with Canadian tax authorities and was a member of the Department of Justice’s Rectification Committee.
