“Le Brexit, une mine d’or pour les avocats” by Jean-François Parent, Droit-Inc
Droit-Inc quotes Montréal lawyer Peter Kirby in an article on Brexit and how the British government has to fill the acute shortage of lawyers specialized in international trade negotiations.
“For close to 50 years, the British have been negotiating their international trade agreements through Brussels,” explained Mtre Peter Kirby, partner with Fasken Martineau specialized in cross-border trade.
“They’re going to have to rebuild all their international trade relations. It’s like trying to build a house, but you can’t find a builder,” added Kirby.
