“L’atteinte de l’altitude de croisière?” by Marc-André Séguin, Le Journal du Barreau du Québec.

The Journal du Barreau du Québec quotes Montréal lawyer Martin Sheehan in an article on Transport Canada’s revision of the legislative framework regulating the use of recreational drones in the country’s airspace.

We expect Transport Canada to change its approach, stated Mtre Martin Sheehan, an aviation lawyer. “We expect a complete revision of the prevailing legislation. Instead of basing its approach on the type of device or user, we expect the government to adopt an approach based primarily on risk. In this sense, the analysis could be influenced by various factors, in particular the time of use, the number of users in a given sector or even the weight of the device.”
