“Les normes minimales du travail sont-elles dépassées?” by Michel Lacombe, RDI Radio - Faut pas croire tout ce qu’on dit.

Radio-Canada - Faut pas croire tout ce qu’on dit interviews Montréal lawyer Nathalie-Anne Béliveau in a report on amendments to the Labour Standards Act.

Labour Minister Dominique Vien announced that the Labour Standards Act will be revised. The Act sets out the minimum conditions of employment for most private sector workers in Quebec, in particular minimum wage, the length of a normal work week, and annual leave. But these standards might need to be reviewed in light of globalization, the digital revolution and new technology. Michel Lacombe discussed this with his guests.

Nathalie-Anne Béliveau is a senior partner with Fasken Martineau specializing in litigation and employment law.
