Le Devoir quotes Montréal/Québec City lawyer, Jean M. Gagné, in an article on women’s role in philanthropy.
“Rather than discuss one case in particular, they can talk about philanthropy itself, in order to develop a real culture in this field,” explained Jean M. Gagné, senior partner at Fasken and President and CEO of the Institute.
With that in mind, the Institute wanted to develop a picture of philanthropic giving in Quebec. “Not just cash gifts, but also time and expertise,” Mr. Gagné pointed out. This offered an excellent opportunity to examine the giving habits of Quebecers. The survey, which was conducted online by Léger Marketing in April 2018, received responses from 1,008 adults.
