The Startup Canada Ontario Awards Reception took place on May 8 in London, Ontario.

Jeff Dennis is a lawyer and serial entrepreneur. He is a trusted advisor who has been involved in startups, acquisitions and financings for a variety of businesses. Jeff also spearheads Fasken Martineau's Start-up & Entrepreneurial Initiative in Toronto.

Jeff was named runner up in the Entrepreneur Mentor of the Year category, awarded to a Canadian entrepreneur mentor who has demonstrated the greatest impact in advancing the success of entrepreneurs, startups, startup communities and entrepreneurial activities locally, regionally and/or nationally through no-cost mentorship of entrepreneurs as evidenced by their rate of growth.
