Fasken Martineau announces that Dan Brock has been recognized as one of the most powerful lobbyists in Ottawa.

Ottawa (Canada) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business and litigation firm, is pleased to announce that Daniel Brock has been recognized as one of the most powerful lobbyists in Ottawa.

In a list compiled by Canadians for Responsible Advocacy and recently published in Maclean’s magazine, Dan earned the third spot for his active lobbying on behalf of the firm’s clients.

Since The Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying was established in 2008, focus has increasingly been drawn to securing the public’s confidence in the integrity of the government’s decision-making process. Lobbying remains an important element in providing access and communication between businesses and our government but is carefully monitored by The Office to ensure transparency and lobbying law compliance. With dramatically increasing numbers and close to 800 federally registered lobbyists, it is a credit to Dan’s diligent and effective advocacy that he has so prominent a presence among decision-makers in Ottawa.

As the only law firm represented on the list of the 12 most powerful lobbyists in Ottawa, Fasken Martineau enjoys a unique position in Canada’s legal market as a result of Dan’s dedicated work for the firm’s clients.
