Toronto (ON) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, is pleased to announce that it received four major awards at the third annual LMG Life Sciences Awards ceremony, held on September 16 in New York City.
The firm took home awards for “Canadian Regulatory Firm of the Year”, “Canadian Product Liability Firm of the Year, “Canadian Impact Case of the Year” and “Canadian Regulatory Attorney of the Year”.
Timothy Squire, a Toronto based partner and co-chair of Fasken Martineau’s Life Sciences Group, was named “Canadian Regulatory Attorney of the Year”. Tim also won this award in 2013. His practice is devoted to the regulation and commercialization of drug products, medical devices, natural health products and other types of life science innovation. “It’s a privilege to be recognized for all the dedication and work accomplished. Fasken Martineau received the award for “Canadian Impact Case of the Year” for its work on the Apotex v Duchesnay case. Duchesnay was advised in these proceedings by a team from Fasken Martineau that included Marie Lafleur and Julie Desrosiers.
