Nicolas recently completed his second year of law at the University of Ottawa. Never afraid of a challenge, he decided to study law in his second language, French.
During his studies, Nicolas worked for the University of Ottawa’s continuing legal education centre where he organized and attended French-language legal conferences from Charlottetown, PEI to Victoria. He later worked for Professor Wolfgang Alschner doing text-as-data analyses for the UOttawa’s Tech Law Centre. In doing so he learned how to efficiently manage large amounts of documents and wrote reports about trends in Canada’s extradition treaties, the world’s constitutions, and more.
Nicolas previously studied Political Science at McGill University where he graduated with a First-Class Honours distinction. He was also a member of the varsity swim team, coached the Triathlon Club, and was the News Editor of a campus magazine.
When Nicolas is not working, you may find him at the rock-climbing gym, out for a jog, reading a book, or watching a crime thriller on Netflix.
Back in Vancouver, Nicolas is a proud alumnus of Vancouver Pacific Swim Club, University Hill Secondary school, and a former Head Coach of the North Vancouver Cruisers swim team.
