Nicole recently completed her second year at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she has been involved in student government as an executive on the Allard Law Student’s Society, and has volunteered with Legal Education Outreach. In her first year, Nicole received the Harry Rankin Prize in Criminal Law which is offered for academic excellence and engagement in the classroom. Last summer, Nicole gained valuable experience through her work at a small, full-service law firm in Penticton, B.C.
During her undergraduate degree, as well as her first year of law school, Nicole competed on the UBC Varsity Track & Field and Cross Country teams. Nicole was recognized as an Academic All Canadian for her academic achievements during her time competing for the Thunderbirds. As an athlete, Nicole enjoyed spending her Friday evenings mentoring elementary school kids through the I’m Going to UBC program.
Nicole enjoys running, skiing, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She joins us in May for summer articles.
