Patrice trained chartered accountants on the new Civil Code after it was introduced in 1994. He teaches at the third grade on business law at the HEC Montréal. He also taught for several years at the École du Barreau du Québec, where he was in charge of the section on the financial aspects of the practice of law and wrote the teaching documentation.
