Philippe Lefebvre Desrosiers graduated from McGill University, Faculty of Law with a double degree in common law and civil law. Prior to law school, he obtained a Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Ottawa where he was on the Dean’s List. Philippe has extensive experience working with Global Affairs Canada as both a Junior Analyst and a Junior Project Officer in various divisions of the organization. He has also worked as an Office Clerk at a Montreal law firm and as a Junior Communications Officer for Public Safety Canada. At law school, he was the President of the Business Law Association and was involved with the Legal Information Clinic and Pro Bono Students Canada as a volunteer Caseworker and Coordinator. During his undergraduate degree, he was a member of the University of Ottawa’s Varsity Rowing Team and a Branch Ambassador for the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. In his spare time, Philippe enjoys cycling, swimming, rowing and snowboarding. He is also interested in Canadian and American politics, LGBTQ literature, visiting museums and art galleries. He is fluent in French and a beginner in Spanish.
