Raajan advises clients with respect to civil litigation, dispute resolution, and privacy and cybersecurity matters.
Raajan routinely advises clients experiencing potential cybersecurity incidents involving sensitive personal information and helps clients to achieve compliance with their obligations under Canadian privacy laws. He often assists clients with matters involving ransomware, cyber extortion, malware, and phishing attacks. As a litigator, Raajan maintains a broad civil litigation and dispute resolution practice through which he helps clients navigate and resolve complicated disputes, including high-profile data breach class actions, access to information applications, and other privacy-related and commercial proceedings.
Raajan graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School. As a law student, he assisted clients with employment litigation as a Student Caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services. Raajan also volunteered in a legal capacity with the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario, and has served as a Student Member of the Clinic’s Board of Directors. During his final year of law school, he participated in the LL.M. program at Trinity College Dublin through an exchange program. Prior to attending law school, Raajan obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts specializing in Political Science at the University of Toronto, Trinity College.
Raajan summered and articled with Fasken, and was seconded to Rogers Media as a summer student.
